Jack Cass Gets Jewish (Or Did He?)

An unvarnished Jerusalem story, told the way it was.

The so-called Baal Teshuva movement of the 1970s in Jerusalem began with a handful of students and resulted in changing the lives of tens of thousands of Jews and non-Jews around the world. This book has no agenda other than to tell it the way it was.

What an experience

“Some parts are very humorous, and your sense of humor never fails, but ultimately the book is about life—what life is—and the many questions that can and cannot be answered. It really hit home. I cried for my people: for those who truly believe they are doing God’s service, learning Torah and keeping mitzvot, while wielding a sword of words and opinions that hurt, cut, and shred others to pieces. Is this Yiddishkeit?”
